about
i work under the name crow, also known as a1020. i don’t share personal details like my real name, age, or background. that choice is intentional. i want the work to stand on its own, without assumptions or labels attached to who i am.
i see photography as a form of expression, not a technical exercise. i’m drawn to raw moments, strong contrast, silhouettes, and light that creates tension. i’m not interested in perfection or polish. what matters to me is atmosphere, feeling, and honesty.
i work almost entirely in black and white. i don’t stage scenes or manipulate reality. my goal is to get the image right in-camera and keep post-processing minimal, limited to small adjustments in exposure, contrast, and cropping. i never add or remove elements from a photograph.
photography isn’t something i do casually. it’s the one thing that has stayed with me through everything. i shoot when life allows, but my goal is to make photography the main focus of my life. i trust my eye, respond to what’s in front of me, and let the moment decide the image.
my work is shaped by life itself. i don’t choose subjects.
